PhD in Economics, Warsaw School of Economics (PhD dissertation „On the interdependencies between fertility and women’s labour supply”), MSc in Economics and Quantitative Methods and Information Systems, Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2003 she has employed at the Institute of Statistics and Demography (Warsaw School of Economics). In the years 2003-2005 she worked at the Gdansk Institute for Market Economies and has been cooperating with the Institute thereafter. In the years 2005-2007 she was staying at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research where she obtained a European Research Master of Demography. For her scientific achievements Foundation for Polish Science awarded her with a scholarship START 2007-2008. Her research interests cover family dynamics and its interrelationships with other socio-economic processes and the institutional context. In particular she is interested in the interdependencies between fertility, women’s labour supply and women’s educational activity. She is also experienced in demographic forecasting as well as in projecting social security expenditures.
